These guys were amazing. I had to get suspension work done on my car and when I dropped the car off for diagnostics they were unable to do everything they needed to do because of my car. Instead of selling me on other things or charging me for the diagnostics — they were so honest and told me what was wrong and what was best for me and my car. And they didn’t even charge me. Very happy with the service and expertise. Good honest and knowledgeable people working there!

Here’s my story: first time in. I say, “I’ve got a car with a flat tire and I think I need to replace it.” They take a look, call back and say “We patched it up but it’s got good tread and wasn’t a big problem so we don’t think you need a new tire at this point.” They could easily have gotten a few hundred bucks out of me if they wanted. Instead, they got a loyola customer. Good dude’s. One man’s opinion.

Outstanding service and integrity. Zepeda is hands down the best mechanic shop in Logan Square. I came in with a small issue with my Jeep door, and they fixed it quickly and efficiently. A few weeks later, the issue came back—and without hesitation, they took another look, handled it professionally, and made sure it was properly resolved. The team is honest, friendly, and truly stands by their work. Shops like this are what make Chicago great. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I LOVE JOSE AND THE GUYS AT ZEPADA! From the first phone call, Jose was so down to earth and caring about me and my vehicle. I have never in my life gotten more transparency about the evaluation and work mechanics are doing on my car -- they send a huge report to you with pictures and videos of all the parts inside your vehicle! You receive this full report and ONLY THEN do they ask what work you want done, only when you've had the chance to talk with them and make the most informed decision. These guys clearly care about the work and their customers and are a staple of the Logan Square/Humboldt neighborhoods. WE LOVE ZEPADA!

Friendly staff and extremely helpful. They provided details on the work that needs to be done and send over itemized list before completing anything. They also make helpful recommendations. Dropped off my car in the morning and it was ready by end of day.

The team at Zepeda is outstanding! I've had several minor and major repairs done on my '14 Subaru Forester at their shop, and I've always been pleased with my experience. From the comprehensive report they provide indicating any issues, to the friendliness and kindness with which they treat every customer, they provide a level of service that goes above and beyond. Most recently, I had transmission work completed at their shop, in order to pass an emissions test and renew my car registration. They were able to complete the work promptly (in one day during the week of Thanksgiving!), and when my car didn't pass initially (due to my mistake, not theirs) they took another look at the car to ensure it would pass-- and it did! I really can't say enough good things about the work they do here. If you're looking for a stellar mechanic, look no further!

These guys are the absolute best. I’ve been here twice now. Once for my old car, once for my new car - from suspension troubles to tire replacements. Extremely friendly and always looking out for the best interest of the customer. They go above and beyond. I would recommend anyone to go here.

Zepeda is the best! These are true professionals at their craft. They took amazing care of my Volvo xc60. Their attention to detail and thoughtfulness was incredible and they were so personable and kind! 10/10 experience and highly recommend.

I was very impressed with Zepeda Auto service. They were quick to give me an estimate on my repairs and did the work quickly and completd when promised, Their shop was clean, the waiting area was comfortable, and the personnel were professional and friendly. The cost of their repair was $1000 less than another shop had quoted me. They are honest. Zepeda will be doing all my auto work from now on and I highly recommend them.
